Hi, I’m new here. Would want to enrol my DD to RVPS for 2014. May I know if RVPS offers phase 2A(1)? I’m old sch girl however I did not join the Alumni. According to MOE site, you have to be old sch girl AND must be part of Alumni to Be classified under 2A(1). I’ve called up the school and was told by the office staff that they don’t offer Phase 2A(1) as they offer starting from Phase 2B. I’m very confused. Any kind soul out there can advise?

The registration process is standard across all schools and rules are set by MOE. In your case, since you are not an alumni, you fall under P2A2 which, so far, has been good enough to secure a place.

Yes, this happen in other schools -
Eg: pupils staying in Pasir Ris or Tampines or Siglap and study in Rgps, school bus fees per month exceed $200.

The same applies to boys staying in these areas and study in acs (barker) primary.

I am thinking of signing my ds for the discovery camp in June, and hope to find out any parents also sending their dd/ds to attend, especially those from 1E Graciousness. It will be probably more fun if there is a familiar face during the 5 day
