Hi parents.


Would like to know if anyone has kids currently taking the school bus to and from RVPS?

I am sure you have the seen the registration form for our new bus transport operator…noticed that there is a marked increase in bus fares for 2015 under the new bus operator…

I have feedback this to the principal…anyone did the same?

is RVPS really a good school? my P3 son was transferred to this school in July and has told me a few times about the class being ‘very noisy’. Some kids just talk (joke) loudly during class, and some even fly paper plane. The teacher would either carry on lesson ignoring them, or just turn off the ceiling fan one by one as punishment, or just look back at the kids with a ‘stern’ look and silence, or let the class stay back for 5-10minutes… Obviously these action do not change the kids behavoir and for the whole semester it’s as ‘noisy’ as that…


I have no clue if end of P3 there will be shuffle of class. I just hope my son can be transferred to a class where the kids respect the teachers more…

if the teacher is not disciplining the kids or is ineffective in disciplining the kids, then i suggest to raise this to the form teacher or HOD or Principal that the behaviour is affecting the other students and the class is too noisy for proper studying. The principal is very efficient in response to emails from parents. I raised a concern before on a certain teacher and almost immediately he responded and got the HOD to contact me to understand more and explain to me.

Hi, you may wish to check with the school directly for their plans but I believe an open house, if any, will only be held in mid 2015 (they did a combined offsite one at Zhangde Pri this year, in May or June iirc). They do accept PVs but the registration window (which will be announced on their sch website), is usually quite narrow. Do check with the sch directly, to get an indication of when the next PV registration will be held in 2015.
