          Hi Anna Ng:

Wow!! Your children are so fortunate to have you as mummy. I wonder how you can manage with work, children, housework, husband etc... without a maid at home to help you. You are really a Wonderwoman!!
          :celebrate:

 I am a SAHM and my hubby still gave me 2 maids to help me at home when my 2 younger ones were much younger. He was afraid I would be stressed out by my children. Now I only left with one maid.

I think my children are so fortune to have my hubby as daddy. My hubby likes to play with children and also know how to look after them. He learns all these from my mother in law as she used to work as nanny. So, most of the time the children are taking care by him, as I only in charge of “providing milk” and housework. Furthermore, my hubby and I are the typical “family” type, we not use to go out, the most are library and marketing, of course besides that we also have to give up our personal time like no more TV & reading becomes a luxury hobby to us already.

Anyway, I intend to get a maid as I don think we can scope after the little one born. It is appreciated if your know any good maid and pls recommend to us.

I dont have much luck with maids. I will usually keep changing them till I find a good one. I like my last maid very much. She was hard working and she took care of me and my family very well. 😢 But she decided to go home because her mother 😢 missed her and wanted her to go home. Both mvelle09 and baby2momma are so fortunate to have maids that work for them for 6 ,7 years. Maybe they can recommend you a good agent. Here is usually what I will look out for when employing a maid:

              1) find a reliable agent.
              2) make sure that they will replace or refund you the upfront loan if you happen to return the maid.
              3) make sure that the maid is not below 23. They always lie about their age to get into singapore to work.
              4) senior high school will be better
              5) must have true experience with at least 2 to 3 years especially with children
              6) not the only or youngest child in the family.
              7) nice smiling face
8 ) from east or central java (my maid told me west java is not so good) if you are getting a maid from indonesia.
              9) must buy the run away waiver
              10) pray for a good maid

Hope you will get a good maid soon. 🙏 🙏

                Hi Anna,
The meeting is from 8:15-4:30pm depending on your kid's index number. There is a Parent notification ( refer to Annex 1 ) given and you need to reply to confirm the meeting slot.

The condition 2 seem quite tough, is there any agent offers the refund of upfront loan in S'pore ? I used my agent about 6 years ago so not very sure about the quality of maids that brought in from Indo now. Anna if you are interested i can pm you the contact.

                    Hi mvelle09,

Oh Yes, this is the most important condition that the agent must comply.
Most reliable agents willl refund you the balance of the upfront loan within two weeks to a month after you have returned the maid to them. I have friends who did not check the agreement properly ended up paying thousands of dollars after getting an unmatch maid.

                      Dear All:

I am confused regarding the parent & teacher meeting. The annex stated that “the Lasalleian needs not go to school on 11 Mar”. It is mean they no need to go to school for whole day or they no need to be present during the meeting time? If they no need to go to school for whole day, that’s mean I have to apply whole day leave to look after him. What school it is? Whole day off just because of the meeting schedule?
For the agent details, pls kindly email to me, I need to do some survey before action. Thanks in advance.
