Can someone please advise what would you do if your child’s form teacher is treating your child differently from all other pupils in the class?

      For examples…
      - The teacher gave all pupils a gift, except your child, in the class.
      - The teacher doesn’t leave any message in the diary or contact you when your child failed to submit his/her homeworks on time.

My child enjoyed going to school in P1-P2, but he’s kind of depressed after promoted from P2, where he had a great form teacher who really care about her pupils’ learning progress and well respected by her students/parents.

Hello, just 2 cents worth of my thought…

Maybe good to arrange with the teacher to meet face-to-face to sort out misunderstanding and listen to 2 sides of the story.

As for submitting homework on time, I personally feel parents play an important role in ensuring that homework are completed at home and if they’re not sure how to do it, just guide them along. What i’ll normally do is check with my daughter (who’s in P1 now) if there’s any homework to complete. Alternatively, browse through her schoolbag and see if there’s anything we need to take note of. Kids are still kids. They will remember and forget very swiftly.

Thanks! In fact, the problem started after we had a face-to-face discussion with the form teacher....but it's inappropriate for me to tell only my side of story here. All I need now is to find a solution.

We don't have this kind of problem in P1-P2. In fact, we appreciate the professionalism of his P1-P2 form teacher and we always wave :salute: to her when we meet.
Since the school principal has announced that the parents must only discuss such matter with their child respective form teacher, I wonder if we should seek help from MOE...

I remember the school principal said if the problem is still not solved, you can approach the principal. Maybe try writing to the principal?

My child was in CreativeLand for 2 years (P1-P2). It's opposite Yew Tee Primary. The school will fetch kids to and from school. If you are picking up your child yourself, you can inform the center.
For P1 and 2, they do not have teachers from outside to tutor the kids. They are given assessment books and worksheets to do on certain days. I can't remember exactly which days. They will revise the spellings and 听写 with the students. You may like to find out directly from the school.

You may also like to check out ProTeach, though it's further away.
