Nan Hua Primary

Hi parents, congrats and well done for all the kids whom had done well in their exams. Keep up the good work!

Need some advise from the parents here. My DS will be in P1 next year and i would like to check if any one of you are aware whether there will be any changes to the text book list for next year (compared to the one in 2011). I understand the book list will be given out to parents during the orientation but i would like to check around for hand-me-down books before heading down to buy the books during orientation. Any info on this is appreciated! Thanks!

MOE will select the students based on how they do in GEP round 2 - may or may not be selected for twinning class even if your kid pass GEP round 1.

I think NanHua's standard in Chinese is high. Band 2 does not mean he is really weak compared with stduents in other school.

But all my friends think nanhua's exam papers are easiest compared to other good primary schools. Then nanyang is the second easiest.

Yes nanhua exam papers are easiest compared to the other popular primary schools EXCEPT for their Chinese paper which is the MOST DIFFICULT of all the primary schools.

Yep. Just called home. Leave Chinese paper 1. His class too have a few good one. Did your boy scored well? My boy dud well. Band 1. He wants to go the two top class.

My son told me his Chinese score is 1.5 less than full marks, missed top 1. Other subjects are also ok. May join the good class in p3.

Hi, i'm new to Nan Hua, may i know how many good classes in Nan Hua in each level ? Do they go by class alphabet ? e.g. P4A is the best class ? Is it must be band 1 then can go best class ?

Do your kids take enrichment classes? If yes, mind sharing where? They get such good grades!

Does the school provide enrichment classes for students ? esp in P5 & P6 ?

Nan Hua does not provide enrichment classes.

For P1 & P2, they are no best class. Only starts at P3. There are 2 best class. That is what I was told by my son.

My neighbor told me there are supplemental class for all students before plse, should be p5 and p6.
