Hi All - the orientation was quite bad actually, they did not bring the kids to tour the school. Any parents can advise if there are lockers to keep the books?

Really? our time there were parents helper or student leaders to bring the children around. Then what did you do for orientation?

There are lockers outside the classroom but I cannot remember which level can use the lockers. Any P1/P2 parents can answer?

After an hour through the whole introduction of the school traffic rules, dance and choir, our children were asked to go to the auditorium to learn NHPS execrise. Then the children were led back to the hall to do coloring while waiting for their parents to picked them up after the parents had filled up the necessary forms. It was a very simple affair. I suppose there would be a locker to keep the books as we were told to submit certain workbooks on the first three days of school to the teachers.
I guess the actual tour of the school would start on the first day of school as stated in the handbook (which is a stack of papers).

Or is it PE polo and skirt?

TAG - Talented And Gifted. NH has 3 Tag classes, Tag 1 is mainstream high-ability class, Tag 2 & Tag 3 is GEP. For some lessons, Tag 1 will join the GEP students.

                    Hi,

Anyone know how Nan Hua selects the students for TAG Class? Is it based on P3 school academic results? Example top 5% will be qualify for P4 TAG class?

From what I know it is based on the GEP test, went through the first round but not able to go through the second round.

This is what happened to my boy, he is going to TAG next year, joining to GEP students in some of the classes.
Civics and Moral Education, Research Education, Higher Chinese will be taught using the GEP syllabus. There is a Computer Enrichment Programme too.
