is that the reason why they leave out the arrival time in the memo?

ds FT called the parents to send the kids by 7.30am...
Maybe else i kept thinking how come state the dismissal time but not the reporting time, and spoke to some mummies and i gather 3 different timing. :?[/quote]

      i sent e-mail to ours, it's before 7:30am 😄

Confirmed the pickup timing with the RS bus driver. He will pickup my DD at ~7.15am, so shd be able to reach school by 7.30am.

          😄

            I’m new to this forum.
My girl will be going to primary 1 next year.
I’m thinking to get her a mobile phone for her coming birthday. But I’m wondering is she allow to bring handphone to school?

Hope that some parents can share their experience on this…

            Thanks…

Hi, I am a parent of a P1 in KHS, can I hear some comments to the P1 Maths syllabus ?

My opinion is the current PI syllabus seems to be very much tougher than previous when my elder child was in P1. Now they are covering multiplication and division which my child finds it tough to understand. Besides the form teacher is not teaching much using the teach less, learn more concept. I fail to see much support from her except marking of the worksheets. I oso appreciate if I can know from rest of you how do you explain or make your kids learn the times table at age of 7. Many tks.

My DD has no tuition on maths and she still can cope well with the topics so far. I saw she was introduced with multiplication recently but only with small number, e.g: *3 or *4. It's more like a concept introduction. P1 does not need to learn times table yet.

Anyone going for the childrens’ day celebration. It seems that apparently the school can only accommodate 100 grandparents and grandchildren. Does parents need to go along then…
