I'm new here and considering KHS as one of our choices for my kiddos for P1 registeration next yr. Appreciate it if some of you could help shed light on the following qns:

1. My hubby is an old boy of KHS, but not alumni (idn't pay to join). Is he still eligible for Phase 2A? Got good chance? Or is it a must to join alumni to secure the eligibility? No one dare to guarantee especially you are staying outside 2km. If I say there is 1% risk, will you still want to take that risk or just join? Anyway it may be too late for you to join. You need to become a Alumni for at least a year.

2. HUbby has his PSLE cert, stating KHS, but has yet to locate his report card. Would this be a problem proving his old boy status? No issue. I did that too.

3. For parents with kids already in KHS, would you know if the std is close to Tao Nan's or quite a gap away? How's the Higher Chinese level, are your kids able to cope? We speak primarily English at home tho' I send my kiddos to Berries, but worried that they will struggle with HIgher Chinese, esp. my boy.Tao Nan more famous. Their result is better maybe because they have GEP program. Toa Nan established earliest in 1906 and KH is newest among the SHHK in 1951

4. Last but not least, I heard that there aren't many CCA options offered by KHS, other than Chinese dance, orchestra, badminton, swimming. Any comments?http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_SearchDtls.asp?strCode=5168

Any mummy knows what time to reach school on Monday?

DD said teacher said by 7.10am but school bus only pick up at 7.10am. :scratchhead:

Memo says they wld proceed to their reporting stations by 7.10am, meaning hv to reach b4 that? Sch bus say no transport that day n ask us to send ourselves!!!
