Maha Bodhi
-
Hi phtthp, ds hardly had any homework in P1. In P2 this year, he has daily work for Chinese but almost none for the other subjects. Buddhist studies is optional.

phtthp:
is there a lot of homework at Maha Bodhi ? is it compulsory to attend Buddhist studies ? can opt out ? my friend not Buddhist.
Homework is dependent on teachers. My P2 girl has CL homework almost everyday. :yikes:
The Buddhism studies is conducted during the curriculum time for lower primary. However, it is optional to buy the textbook and workbook.

Hi,
My son will be attending Primary 1 in 2012. Looking for private transport to send him back to Bedok Reservoir. The school appointed bus operator is not able to bring him directly into the carpark and the grandparent got to walk a fair bit which is tiring for old folks. Anyone else know of other bus operator that has smaller buses that can come right into the carpark of 602 Bedok Reservoir. Would appreciate getting the contact number to call.
Thanks. -
Not sure if there is such non-school appointed school bus service for MBS but do note that such non-school appointed school bus will not be allowed to enter the school compound and your son will have to alight at the road side and walk into the school himself. The guard is quite strict about vehicles parking by the road side waiting to fetch the kids. Parents who drive to pick their kids have been advised to park their vehicles at the carpark opposite the school.

Hi, 7788
Thanks for your advice. -
Try negotiating with the school appointed bus operator. It all depends on how many kids near your place are taking the school bus. If the crowd is there, they may make an exception.
