2 sets sure enough. On PE day, student wear PE T-shirt thought. DS timetable is 2 days uniform and 3 days PE T-shirt. For standby (just in case of bad weather), we bought 1 extra set uniform (1 size up) and 1 pair of shoe (half size up). Still new as it was really "standby" loh.

Hi Jen Kuah, I bot 3 sets of uniform and 2 sets of PE shirt and shorts so that i order need iron one time in middle of week for the uniforms. You manage to meet the MT teacher on orientation day? Will you be taking school bus? Which part of Jurong do you stay?



Hi Jiyou, during this year, did your DS need to wear the extra pair of shoes you bought? I am also considering if there is a need to buy extra pair of shoes.

Did not meet the MT teacher, took half day leave for that day…very rush.
Will be taking school bus …but think will ask hubby to send him cause 6.10am too early…but will be taking back from the sch to student care. i stayed at 658. what abt U?

I actually paid to and fro for the school bus. You also paid for round trips as well? Was told pick up at 6.05am its really very early means must wake up at 5+ so may end up sending her there on our own. Do you know where is the drop off point if we send our kids there on our own? Not sure how far is the distance from the drop off point to the school and if its dangerous to let them walk to school on their own?

I stay very near to Jurong Point.

I took full day leave on the day of the orientation, fortunately actually because i find the orientation tiring. Maybe getting old get tired easily

U are right, i paid the full amt. So we stayed quite near each another. Is your child going to student care after that or someone is at home. Getting up at 5 plus is really tiring…still got a younger sibling to bring to child care…think the drop of point would be in the school compound. Have to check it out with my neighbours…

No, \"standby\" shoe still on standby, it was brand new till now. Luckily I bought that fm school, so it was cheaper that the 1st pair. Since we were told to get half size bigger, so we keep this 2nd pair loh.
DS didnt outgrow his uniform, PE shirt and shoe.

Hi Mummy2G and jen kuah,
drop-off point is the road alongside the school. U will see many cars there, for sure you cant miss it.
On rainny day, you can drive into school compound. It will be long Q to go in/out.
FYI, DS take 1 way school bus (after school to student care) and we paid 1 way at S$35 in year 2010. Bus operator had not collect payment from us form year 2011.

Like to chk. Other then textbook, activity bk and those mark for "B", do DS hv to bring all the rest to school on 1st day?
I means bks like social science, health education, music, art, drawing block …

1 more Q. For P1, January mth is like "free n easy" trip. Some time were spend on making taking photo for student card, checkup etc etc.
How about P2? Does lessons kick-off almost immediately in 1st/2nd wk?
