Hi,
What is the youngest age to get into competition? On an average child, how long does one takes to complete the learning of fencing? 2 years or more? What are the essential skills to pick up?

RE: HOW TO MOTIVATE MY GIRL TO PUT IN MORE EFFORT IN HER STUDIES
Hi Petunia,
Reading this tread w great interest in yr book and upcoming seminar. This is a biggest find of my life. Wish you success.
DS is in P3, tons of careless mistake and not focusing. Like other kid, need nagging and pushing fm Mummy just to complete homeworks. So he do homework for the sick for parents. Believe he can be better.
Cheers! -
RE: Juying Primary
Yes, agreed. "New P seems to be more active / creative."
Can tell the difference. At least there are more "advance" notice to parents like me that are still blur on the time/schedule. (ex school closed on this PSLE oral) -
RE: Juying Primary
For this 2 weeks, DS has to stay 4 days fm Tues to Fri. Beside hm, there are spelling and dicition (both english & MT). Had feedback thru FT, that I do not mind them stay in school for hm (ex the last few Tues), and then we enjoy the family time on Tues which is in the mid-wk, for re-charge again. They can re-schedule the extra lesson/CCA where it allow students to complete hm and have family time too.

mangokiwi:
Hi mangokiwi,Hi everyone,
How's your kids coping during these first few days of school ?
My son looked tired, probably after the long break not yet getting used to school life. Need time for the adjustment.
My son is in P3 this year. He brought back their time-table on the first day.
For every week, he will need to stay back after school for 3 days !
One day for HMT, one day for supplementary class n one day for CCA.
Wow...looks like they are going to have a hectic year.
Sometimes as a parent I feel heartache to see him look so tired in the evening when he reach home. Sigh ...
Oh ! Titus is having 1 day for hmt class. DS dont hv too. That is strange. He has Tues for CCA n Thur for EMS.
