      HI starlight and silverhorse
i wrote a letter to the teacher explaining that we will have to take Wed off. imagine my shock when my son came back and relate to me that the teacher said " i’m sorry, you can’t!"
this is utterly shocking! he is my son and i can’t decide??? i’m in a dilemma now, not because of the school- now i couldn;t care a damn about them; it’s my family and i’m not in control, not you!!! my fear is my son will bear the brunt when he comes back. will the teacher scold him; shame him; blame him? sigh!![/quote]

I think it’s better to either call or email the FT to clarify.
My girl (P1) and her cousin (P6) is in Rulang.
Her cousin applied to excuse herself from school from today till 30/1 (Mon) w/o any problem… so I think it could be a misunderstanding.

          Dear all,
There was a misunderstanding as you all have wisely suggested. After clarification with FT, it is now settled. I can really enjoy my holidays now! Thank you all for \"listening\" to my ranting and pointing me to the right direction.
Happy New Year and happy hols!

                Hi,

Just wondering, have you received the important Colouful booklets yet?

DD in P2 has not.. and we have been waiting for it since the P2 briefing in Wk2... Wonder why it is taking so long...

Now I kinda regret not taking notes... :stupid:

Workload still manageable right now, but now instead of 1 ISR, there is additional class + HMT. In additional, dd is involved in a couple of stuff (SYF, project/competition), potentially, will become quite hectic once those are finalized. But frankly, compared to my P6 DS (in another Sch), then P5 dun seems that xiong. (also partly cos DS involved in a few programmes). Sometimes I really wonder, should I let them stretch or they should enjoy more......pitiful.

I hope to get the P4 ones too. Yesterday I was asking some parents about it at the sports meet....
