      Lock:
Alamak.... Is d Sch really that stressful in upper pri? Afterall, it's still a heartland Sch. We had a chance to enroll ds in ACS but chose Rulang cos we thot it may be less stressful cos of its heartland status.

ACS is less stressful than Rulang for sure.

agreed! ACS is definitely less stressful than Rulang. Rulang is 'well-known' as a pressure cooker.

I am unaware which solid organization is a stress free environment.

Pls tell me, if there is.

                  Hi pjlee25,

My gal will also be in P1 there next year. πŸ˜‰

After school (PM), parents have to go pickup the children directly from school. I'm still deciding on whether to let my DD shower at the BASC. I figured that if she does then I'll talk to the BASC that she be allowed to leave her wet towel and clothes there. I'll go pick it up in the evenings after fetching her from school.. not sure if they will object..

Hi! Good to know someone whom is in the same situation. πŸ˜‰

                  Hi hi.

So you have made your decisision on which BASC? BTW, have u received any letter from Rulang to confirm your child got a place? I have received nothing...[/quote]Yeah...received the letter. Orientation on 13 Nov! Have not decided on the BASC...but will be dropping by to check out the 2 BASC near to Rulang.

Yup, I've received it 2 days ago too.

                    Happy scouting!

Anyone knows what's the orientation about? No details on exactly what are needed to be brought along.

To buy textbooks, school uniform, get to know the school and maybe form teacher and the classroom the kid will be in next year etc
                        Bring some $$.
