At which level does the prefects selection start?

Saw from starlight's previous post that selection starts at P3...
      Heard nothing from my ds.
But I told him usually these are for those very tall and mightly built students....

During dd's time, the form teacher would submit a list of pupils at the end of p3, so that training etc could be conducted in the Dec hols.

I think the Prefects' Investiture will be coming soon.

Prefects start their \"job\" from p4 onwards.

          Hi,

Just received a letter on the above. Seems like about 100 children are selected for this. Just curious if any of you know much about this? Will all the 100 kids be involved or they will train 100 and just select a portion of the good ones? As my gal is not really the sporty or agile type, if not all are involved, I might want to opt out as currently she has tuition on Sat morning, would have to change if she is to continue.

Did the school participate previously? How much commitment is required? Did you opt out? If yes, why? What’s your view on this?

                Hello Mummies,

Would like to check when is the mock test for primary 1 ah?
Is it 25th Mar onwards? Is it confirm? By the way how will we parents
know what are the topics to revise for the test?
Will this test be calculated as a percentage of the final exam or this test
will have no influence at all? Kindly advise. TIA 😉

The student's handbook would have the dates of test/exam for the whole year. Upon closer, the school will send out a note to all pupils to confirm the dates.
I am unsure about the weightage of CA but most likely NOT counted towards the year-end score. However, it is confirmed both the mid-year exam and year-end exam are counted towards the year-end score.
Please double confirm on this part.

You can refer to the information booklet given to them in the beginning of the year. It is meant for parents' reference. Its quite a thick booklet which each subject info is printed in different color pages. It provides informations on what they'll be taught for the whole year and what will be tested during examinations. Go check it out. :celebrate:
