If your kid has a chinese name, please remember how to write them because there will be several forms for the parents to fill in. I forgotten how to write the chinese name   so have to rush back to get it done again.

      Thanks yqyq..

Any idea what is going to happen on that day and how long would it be??
I am thinking if i am able to bring my younger son along too.

It shall lasts for 2 hrs++. During my dd that time, parents and kids will be segregrated into 2 groups. Kids will be escort to classrooms, sightseeing of the school area and a mini test to determine the class allocation, while the parents will be seated at hall for the school history briefing, etc.

I think should not be a problem to bring your younger son along as I saw quite a handful of parents did so during my time.. ๐Ÿ˜„

          What mini test?

A simple Maths and English test to determine the kids ability to read and solve simple maths question...got some puzzles alike.

But those were Year 2009, so I'm not so sure this year will be any changes or not...

But no need to be alarm for those mini test, the school will organise alot supplementary and remedial classes since P1 to assist the children...

In my opinion, I think there is some allocation done although may not made known officially. From my DDโ€™s report book for first semester, i realized how large the gap is between the max and min scores of each subject. Imagine the weaker students among a large pool of better ones, it can be an issue for these kids to catch up.

yes..really a big gap, but it seems SQ v strong at Tamil...the gap v quite narrow.
