Hope the P1 enjoyed their first day today
Our ds came back with excitement and can see that he is very happy.
Hope he remains positive and make new friends. -
My son also excited about his first day in school. I packed his bag according to the list given during orientation but he complained I didn’t pack so many things. His form teacher gave a long list to bring today, almost all the books except Chinese books, faint!

...same here. He has most of the books in his bag today.
The teacher will keep some of the books in the school though.bktan02:

There is a list??? Why the teacher only ask me to bring files and exercise books when I spoke to her yesterday?

I do not think there is a list per se because I did not see any list from the school yesterday. Instead, I think the form teacher verbally listed out the things to bring. They will start using the handbook/dairy to write down the things to do/bring once they get hold of one. The bookshop has started selling in school.

The form teacher print a list yesterday for the items to be bring today. I have spoken to her and she said she will try to keep most of the books in school like music, health, social studies etc. Only bring home text books and homework. I have bought the handbook yesterday.
But today my son cried from 1 to 5pm and asked him why he cried he said no reason, faint! -

Can I check, do your son bring everything except the Chinese textbooks, workbooks, exercise books (square), file (yellow) and Chinese civil and moral education book?
