I do not think there is a list per se because I did not see any list from the school yesterday. Instead, I think the form teacher verbally listed out the things to bring. They will start using the handbook/dairy to write down the things to do/bring once they get hold of one. The bookshop has started selling in school.

๐Ÿ˜‚ ...same here. He has most of the books in his bag today.
The teacher will keep some of the books in the school though.
My son also excited about his first day in school. I packed his bag according to the list given during orientation but he complained I didn't pack so many things. His form teacher gave a long list to bring today, almost all the books except Chinese books, faint!

There is a list??? Why the teacher only ask me to bring files and exercise books when I spoke to her yesterday?
The form teacher print a list yesterday for the items to be bring today. I have spoken to her and she said she will try to keep most of the books in school like music, health, social studies etc. Only bring home text books and homework. I have bought the handbook yesterday.

But today my son cried from 1 to 5pm and asked him why he cried he said no reason, faint!

Can I check, do your son bring everything except the Chinese textbooks, workbooks, exercise books (square), file (yellow) and Chinese civil and moral education book?

                  Sorry sdgal,

I think I saw this too late.
All except maths 1A textbook, Chinese 1B, Maths 1B and 1 yellow file are all in school now. :? Wonder if the teacher keeps the textbook as well? Need to ask again....

That's very nice of the teacher.

It's a brand new environment after all so give your son some time. I am sure when he starts to make new friends, he will be fine.

It's okay. My daughter bring all the stuff except Chinese-related. The teacher collected everything except Exploring Reading and Health Education. I saw the timetable, it stated that there is PAL on Monday but it would not be starting so soon. Hence, does it mean that they have maths and art to replace the 430 to 630 slot? If yes, do I need to pack the drawing paper for art or just the attending textbook is enough which is with the teacher).

Strange, his exploring reading and health education are no longer in his bag.
For art, they have a drawing block and an art file which they may have to bring later, I think.
