Just sent my son to school and saw a lot of parents and maids feeding the kids eating lunch outside the gate. Also saw some parents bring lunch box and go into the school. Is the school allow parents to bring lunch to school or bring the kids outside the gate to eat lunch during PAL dayโs lunch hour?

Sorry about the wrong emoticon in earlier post.
It will be very messy if parents start going into the school with lunch boxes.bktan02:

Just a bit worry that kids will go out the gate themselves to look for their parents. Saw a kid walking around and a teacher approach her and asked her is her mum bringing food for her. She said no so teacher calling the teacher in charge and ask her go canteen buy food. -

Thought they say that the kids are not allowed to leave the school compund? I have thought of asking my mother in law to bring food to my dd.. but in the end decided to ask my dd to buy food at the canteen instead.....later must ask her what she eat...Sorry about the wrong emoticon in earlier post.

This is the first year that the school has arranged PAL this way. The in between timing is a time where some students start coming in and if the P1 after PAL is allow to roam around, there will be a risk of students going out of the compound. I hope the school will streamline this process.

Thanks jon00.. Tell u a funny thing. The form teacher is asking me what special instructions that she need to take note from the doc. I sms her to say no cold food/drinks and no air con for my boy. She replied that she will go and spy him during recess..Hope your ds1 has a speedy recovery.

, that is very nice of the teacher. My ds likes to drink coke and with the new found freedom of handling his own money this year, I made a joke with him last year that I will distribute picture of his face to all the canteen operators so that no one can sell coke to him. Fortunately, no sugary fizzy drinks allowed in school. Yr ds1 in P1 too?venus77:
