Hi, yes & thank u - i did visit the MOE website, but I couldn’t locate a programme that matches Rope Skipping; and wondering if any parents has children who were/are in rope skipping, thinking of the DSA route:)

I tried finding also but like you failed. I think the number of schools allowing the dsa route is really way a lot. Based on faq, seems we should go check out the schools directly if this is a route they offer. Agree that this is quite a niche area (unlike say band/orchestra). This thread a bit the quiet, perhaps you can check out with the PSG? else maybe ask in the DSA threads.
Fun is going to start next week. May 2016 be a good year for HWS! -
Thank u for the suggestion:)

A few yrs back, my friend's girl from a neighbourhood primary sch applied DSA to Cedar Girl's via CCA track. Her cca was rope-skipping. -
Happy New Year everyone
Brand new year, brand new start :rahrah:
can I ask for the P1 this year, do they \"don't need to queue up and buy food in the canteen? it will at their canteen table?\"..
there was something like that a few years back, I recalled handing over the recess money for 1st week during orientation day.. but this round, I dun recall this at all? :\\.. I stand by money for my P1 child and told her to bring it along during recess lalalala -
Happy New Year Smurfy!
I don't have P1 kids going in, but I recall the same. First 2 weeks is catered food. Thereafter there will be buddies to assist the P1s in buying food. Is ok to standby money...was just mulling I forgot to give money to DS...hope he still has something in his wallet today.

Hi Smurfy,
This year you just need to let your child bring a $1 coin everyday.
Everyday the P1(different classes) will be allocate a stall eg. 1R will go stall 1 on Mon, then Tues 1R will go stall 6 etc.
The school has already arrange with the canteen vendors to pack all P1 with food worth $1.
And they will have a \"senior\"with them when they buy the food.
Hope this help.

Oops…so P1 kids only can buy those $1 food? On Monday, my DS came back and complained $1 food is not enough for him. So I gave him $1.5 yesterday, at night he told me he passed $1.5 to that ‘porridge auntie’, but auntie told him the porridge is $1 and returned him 50cents…and he said during recess time can’t go back classroom to take biscuit in his bag, so end up 饿到发昏 with that small bowl of porridge till dismissal…poor boy! Hopefully today he’ll at least bring his biscuit to canteen, or seek help from his P4 buddy how to buy extra food.

Think school was trying to be helpful and organize $1 meal? Poor boy...maybe he can get 2 portions if that's not enough? Else tell him to be more assertive and tell auntie to 'jia1 cai4'. Auntie would think your DS may be another clueless P1 child if he wasn't clear.
