      Hi,

Can I ask about the uniform requirements in RGS with the current COVID situation? How many set of formal uniform do we need for 5 days study week?

      Hi zing,

My girl’s class also had 16 kids who went and one selected. A boy. Are our kids from the same school, same class?

I am very relieved that she didn’t get in. It will be a logistical nightmare for us but I couldn’t imagine myself doing her a dis service by not letting her change school. But all ends well 🙂

It was a learning experience for us. I learnt more about her in this process as well.

Congrats to those who gets in. I believe it will be an enriching program for e kids

Is a learning process for us as well. Girl is keen in GEP. I told her believe in herself that she can do it. And my naive girl takes us literally. Did math olymaid books lying in the house and did her bro p5 books. I think we only mark them the weekend before the tests…

Came home telling us only maths is hard. 5-6 questions didn’t know how to do. Find general ability questions interesting.

I tot about it a lot these few days. She does not read vividly and keen on fiction books only. Ask her read more, she said boring. Ask her practice SA2 exams, she doodle in e past yr papers. More of those silly Happy go lucky kind. She is not at the level e GEPPers parents described of about their kids. She likes GA questions and can see the patterns coz her logical thinking and reasoning skills are very strong. Maybe after her exams will bring her to bookshops and find books on GA questionsto stretch her mind…

    • RE: GEP 2018 - Screening and Selection Test

I think something has changed. From last year. My kid’s school at least 40+ went through first round and it is not those top tier schools. My child’s class, nobody seems to be preparing for the round one. Only my child :p. She did math olymapiad books on her own and took her brother pri 5 English vocabulary books to do (errr she has her own motivation to do all these, we were so bad that we didn’t mark or go through w her). She came back home excitedly that day and told me it is pitched at p3 standards not our hear-say p5 standards
