Hello! any parents heard back from HWS on the parent volunteer outcome for next year registration?

In school/class and physical for a while with some kids inciting.

I'm surprised. Contact the teacher, pull in the level head and P. I really doubt no action has been/will be taken by the school cos of my experiences thus far. May be a good time to go down to have a chat. Hope there will be better news soon.

This was sorted out and hope all the students learned from it.

Is Hong Wen selective in choosing parent volunteers? Any idea on their selection criteria and if they turn away lots of PV applicants each year? Thanks in advance!

My PV time was so long ago it's out of date. Just know that it's pretty competitive at Phase 2B & 2C so unless you are staying very near (obviously less than 1km is best, 1-2km is dicey for 2B), it could well be a waste of time to PV. I heard that the number of hours underwent inflation (had idea it was 60hours now, but pls verify). All the best!

Hws has always been popular but do get to know the school to see if its suited for your child. Its a sap school so there is some focus on Chinese lang and culture.
