This thread is quite dead, i wished for more people to join this thread.

Hi parents, my dd is joining p1 next year. We shifted to pasir ris last year, and would like to know of I can join in the PSG. How do I go about?
It's great that you want to volunteer your time for the PSG. I understood that the PSG has interesting reading programmes to the children but all these are during working hours. So I can't do them.
Anyway, I think you can call the school and ask about the procedures on joining the PSG. Cheers ! -

Oh yah...I heard we can enrol during orientation itself. I can enrol for it since I am workign from home. seems like very few parents are on this forum?momsy:

yes, think only three parents now in this forum. sigh ! i wish this thread is more active as the other top threads... so many parents involved. got to knows lots of news too ! -
working from home is busier than I thought! I only started to work from home few months ago…but am getting used to the sending and fetching the lil one to different classes.
Yah, reason why I want to join their PSG is to be able to know what my gal does in school, and also friends around her. it’s always nice to have parental involvement at anytime without too much restrictions. maybe we can jio-jio more parents to come online next time? it’ll be interesting to exchange info here.
Orientation is on 13 Nov ya? Unerstand you both got in in pahse 2B, I went balloting…was so stressful sitting there waiting for my gal’s name to be called. -
haha, i stayed outside the 2km range, so if i do not get in the phase2b, i would totally have no chance at all under phase 2c.
The PV is quite tough lor, got to wake up extremely early on two days of the week to do traffic warden duties. The sky is still dark when i wake up, can practicall hear crickets sounds lei. The things we do for our kids… haha.
ya, perhaps when you join PSG, you can jio more parents lah to come this form lah. You would have more influence over parents ? keke. -
Oh...I can imagine how tough to join PV. but cos i just shifted to pasir ris mid last year, that's why can't join and I stayed in the west then!
Yah...can jio parents in if they are keen
provided ican get into the PSG

Well, isnt it good that you can still manage to get your girl in the school even though no PV ?

Hi, my girl will be in pri 1 in 2012. Considering Pasir Ris primary school. Will be interested to be part of the PSC if my girl gets into the school.
