      Anyone has the same 1-6?

Hi, My child also in 1-6 πŸ˜„

For parents who had also brought books last sat, we discovered that the bookshop actually count the wrong amt. of money and also pack 3 extra items. It's better to check the items as we thought everything was correct as we choose to get the full set and only discover it after we went home.

Yunma, manage to get the money back? and keep the 3 extra items? Hahaha

I queue for abt 30 mins and give up. Going back again in Dec when the bookshop is open.

              Hi,

My son is in 1-4. Had registered him for Badminton & Dharma class.

I self taught him chinese using a set of 7 books of chinese reader recommended by Tamarind. I found it very good. I got him to read out loud english stories almost every day. Therefore, we are not keen to enrol him to anything that is taught in school unless he needs help on that.

Prefer to send him to painting that he enjoys very much. Have been actively looking for one but could not found suitable one within Punggol area. Anyone has good recommendation?

The service rendered by the bookseller was dis-organised and poor service.

I went back last saturday to exchange for school uniform but told to wait or come other day as they were busy servicing parents.

I told the seller how long i need to wait and this visit was to get the uniform exchange, not preferred to drop by again. Then only she attended to me after waiting for 10-15 minutes.

Hope this could be done better/improve next year.

                Dear Sunset-dae,

Thank you for your recommendation of student care.

No nap time at all after school? This does not sound good to me.

The number of hours a P1 child needs to spend in school is too long to my opinion. They are just young children! Why make them study till 1.30 / 2.30?

                  Hi Charmaine

For this school, the teachers say BASC student need to bring sleeping bag for nap time. Not sure if they will inforce a fixed nap time like those children in childcare centre.
However I checked with most centres, either they dont give nap time for BASC students or they dont reinforce a nap time, some centres at punggol even told me children tired just rest their head on the table and take a short nap :yikes:

Yup, they do refund the money, we return the extra items as it's a good time to show my girl honesty. πŸ˜‰

                      Dear Sunset_dae,

                      Thank you for sharing.

It is definitely very tiring for the young kids.

Emmm… Not sure what to do now.

Hi Charmaine, I had sign up my boy to Polaris in Sengkang. They provided nap time for P1 as of now. Not too sure if there are anymore slots. You can give them a ring. Currently there are 3 MTS P1 students (including my boy) there as well.
