Registed my child in Mee Toh last week. Orientation will be on 23 Nov.

Greatly appreciate feedback from any existing parent on their experience with the school, eg what to expect at P1, discipline and teacher interaction, or anything under the sun etc…

P1 & P2 :

Afternoon sessions
SA1 & SA2, 2 class tests (marks not taken into report book)
Have modular CCAs once a week in the a.m.
English - STELLAR programme
Chinese - Higher Mother Tongue
My kids in P2 & P4, so far communication with school and teachers are ok.
There are more teachers joining the school, may be experience teachers or just graduated. So teachers and parents need to have patience and communication is very important. :celebrate:

I do registrition for my son at MTS today, hope sucessful.

do you have any ideas of how the school split the class, will they conduct any test?

Pr 1 : kids are put in classes based on :

Phrase 1 (siblings) first 3 or 4 classes
phrase 2 onwards the remaining classes

every class will have about 30 kids and will have names starting from A - Z.

Pr 1 to Pr 2 enbloc. No splitting into different classes.

Pr 2 to Pr 3, Pr 4 : split base on SA1, CA and SA2 results.
Pr 4, 5 and 6 : base on exam / subject banding

I’m looking at Mee Toh for my boy too. But was worried that do i hv time to do PV work or not.

Went to PV mtg this morning at Rivervale Pri. Not too bad. General intro by principal. But not necessary all parents present in today’s PV mtg will be in automatically. Thus I’m also thinking of another option for my boy.
(he’s only gg to P1 in Y2012).

Any suggestion?

We were really quite surprised, considering the odds and were already planning our backup.

Hi Parents,

Phase 1 of the orientation starts today, for P1-1 to P1-5. I will be there tomorrow as D is in P1-6. Remember to bring those required documents for submission:-)
