      Hi Bakugan,

For Chinese, students join different classes based on their Chinese competency level. I think this is the only subject that streams students into different classes from P1 onwards. For upper primary, students will also be streamed for Maths (besides the normal streaming into top 2 classes from P3 onwards - there may be a change if no exams for P1 & P2 is implemented).

You don’t have to wait for meet-the-parent session to talk to your son’s teacher. Just give her a call (school number or hp if you have it) to find out how your son is doing in school.

      Regards.

        Hi Bakugan!

Other than your kid still \"blur blur\", how is he in the school? Does he like the school?

Sounds like Queenstown Primary is a great school. I passed by the school the other day, and my son commented that he had friends (from childcare centre) in that school, too.

            Hi Superlady!

I am sure KSP parents will be more than happy to share with you, and look forward to receiving more information from you, too, since your child is already in P5.

Would you like to report at the Newbie thread? It's a SOP here. πŸ˜‰

              Thanks mjl

Honestly it didnt occur to me that I could just call the teacher.
Back in my days, only teacher contact my parents and my parents contacting teachers was something unheard of (country pumpkin hor?! haha)

              Hi qms

I think my son loves the school so far by the way he talks about QtPS :
              1. He is constantly singing his school song & reciting school values,
              2. He sounded so \"proud\" of his school soccer team when they won the match over another team the other day, and
              3. He got so excited when he saw a picture of his school students on the Total Defence poster

Me, I love the school's passion in promoting reading

Hi, any idea is there a Open House for new parents enrolling their children for the new school year 2011? Thinking of enrolling my son there.

                    Many thanks.
