Should be safe, the sch already close the area. They just have to scrab it n paint a anti-slip decking paint over it and it will be safe and nice for the kids to go explore their science area again. If not the area will be very wasted.

Are students supposed to learn spelling, without recognizing the character? And it is also impossible to sing with exact pinyin.

How are your p1 kids getting on? Mine came back more happy these few days. Should be enjoying school now. But i am wonder why everyday kids change place or is it free sitting?


Parents are not allowed into the sch during recess and after school? How sad, :sad: like sending kids to cage. I thought MOE want sch and pArents involvement towards kids and are more open to parents? Why now back to our old sch days again. May we suggest installing CC camera in every class so that we can log in to see how our kids doing in class and we can also correct their behaviour when they got home. In that case we are helping our kids and teachers.

exactly, and i am still :? what the school is promoting, from this sheet, i can only say:

1. kids just learn how to spell
2. kids not learning how to recognize Chinese words
3. with those exact pronunciation, it will be reading, not singing

Do they need to dress up in chinese costume in primary school?

they need to wear home clothes (and was told cannot wear sexy clothes, another term I am surprised they used), not sure about P1 this year.
last year in P1, they were asked to wear home clothes for celebration.

Yes seating arrangement. Waste of time every time change here and there. Even if is the child giving problem, will it be better just to let them sit at corner by themselves? In that case he will not disturb others. Keep changing then everyone don't like him. This don't help to solve the problem. Should teach them to help weaker or playful kids not encourage them to dislike him.

Have you ever ask yr p1 kids what they eat everyday in school. Mine buy from the same stall and same kind of food everyday since day 1. Have been asking him to try new stall but always telling me scare not enough $ to buy. $2 a day should be enough to buy from any stall right?


How much yr kids spent in the canteen everyday? With $2 what can he buy? :scratchhead: what type of food they have?
