Sembawang Primary

My gal in 3E. I can check with the sch and the PSG PVs. If I’m not wrong, think is the whole level.

What is your take on this? Is it because they need it or is it used as a extra time to teach things that cannot be finished teaching during normal academic hours?

Dear All Parents,
Is there any of your child in P4 last year?
Actually, I am looking for last year P4 Chinese Test paper.
Is there anyone willing to share?
Thanks in advance. -
Hi All
My ger is in K1 this year and I am looking at putting her at SPS in 2 years time which next year is for registration as the school is near to my mum’s place and I know that Canberra Primary is rather a stressful school. Understand that they do have student care service available. Does anybody cares to share more?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
My gal is due for P1 registration in July this year. Sembawang Primary school is just next to my block, I am wondering how is this school, can anyone share about the school life at this school. -
Hi parents ,
I was an ex-student graduating from Sembawang Primary back in 2009
Later , I moved onto CHIJ ST NICHOLAS GIRLS and am studying in Anglo-Chinese Junior College.
My school mates and I share very very fond memories from SPS. Earlier this year , we all went back for Celebration of the Arts altogether with graduate batches from 2010 onwards to 2013 and the past principals and teachers , Mr Albert who is currently heading Admiralty Primary ,Mr Lim Yew Beng , the previous Maths HOD and favourite P6 maths teacher who stays everyday till 9pm to help the students. It has been a good 5 years already but I must say the memories and experiences are the most humbling , memorable and conducive environment any primary school student can receive. My friends and I have all parted ways but our connections still remain very strong. To date , we still contact each other for help be it academically or emotionally. Many parents would prefer to send their children to Canberra , Chongfu etc for the 'brand'' and 'prestige' but really , I believe and I've been through 6 good years to say that primary school education follows through you for life and it is ''primarily'' the fundamental foundation for your character development and your outlooks on life. SPS has taught me humility , spirit and bestowed upon us the tenacity to do our very best , '' The Best From Me '' the school motto that is
The teachers , staff and parent support group are of quality. The school supports the PSLE students by providing self-study afternoon and night sessions. I recall going back to my favourite alma mater to teach the kids last year before my Biology prelims and the best part is kids of ALL classes mingle together to pull through the stressful periods together. There is NO elitism whatsoever negativity. And their attitude of excellence and fond fellowship forge there never fails to bring a smile to my face and brighten up my day , bringing me back to those old days. I would definitely put my child back in SPS . I remember going to Sentosa during July before preparing for PSLE , it was a school initiative as the school firmly believes that ' Learning is an adventure , learning is fun '
Generally , you do not get a lot of high profile feedback and thoughts about SPS. But SPS is a neighbourhood primary school that is a big part of my childhhood , the care and support that the school bestows upon each child itself is sufficient for a growing school kid.
I would love to clarify or to help any parents with hesitations about sending their children to SPS . And basically it is the core reason why I just created this account with my nickname in Primary School . -
Hi, not sure how to evaluate the primary schools in sembawang. Shortlisted sembawang and endeavour. Any feedback? Thanks!
