        Hello Everyone,

        Few questions here, need advice:
        1) Why is it better to register for in-house student care than external one?
        2) What system doe wellington have?
        3) Anyone know how much pro-teach is charging per month and any extra charges for school break?
        4) Pro teach closing at 6pm? How about morning, what time they opened?

        Thank you so much!!

          1) imo registrating in-house student care the benefits is, any school closure, the school will informed the student care and they will make necessary action, e-learning days the student care will loan the school facilities to enable the student to do their elearning works.
but the main benefits is that, any supplementary classes or remedial classes, the student after will just go to the student care straight without them leaving the school themselves to make their way to outside student care.

          2) don't understand what you mean?

          3) monthly is around $260+/- and school holidays is +$20 or $25/week.

          4) wellington is a single session school, so the student care do not open in the morning. and they do not closed at 6pm, they closed at 7pm or after the last student is pick up.

Pro-teach opens till 7pm and the only way to get in is via the main entrance?

Any side door which is nearer to Sembawang mrt station?
Normally I reach Sembawang mrt station around 6:40pm and I’m afraid I won’t be in time to pick up my boy if I enroll him to pro-teach.
I would also prefer in house student care than external one.
              Anyone can advise? Thanks!

no side entrance to fetch at that timing. that timing only fetch from side entrance of the main gate. Which is actually further from mrt station.

That means it is not the main gate as well? Can you let me know which gate is open at that timing?

I know the gates at the back of the school e.g Gate D is also closed at this timing.
Meanwhile, anyone has any comments/feedback regarding the student care at blk 503B (Evangel)?
                  Thanks.

I not sure what is that gate number. Is the gate nearest to the school field. Is open from 5.30pm till last student care student leaves the school.

For Evangel. their opening is also till 7 I think.
But they only will fetch the student from the school once when the school ends. is the student needs to stay back after school, the student must makes his or her own way to evangel.
Frankly both student care \"teachers\" cannot handle upper primary homework, either they teach wrongly or totally don't teach.

So academically both the same. but evangel is more expensive.

Thanks Norbu. I called Evangel yesterday and they said there is no more vacancy for next year P1 student!

So i think Pro-teach is the only choice for me.

                        Hi lohas99,
I think you can find the answers from http://www.pro-teach.com/parent_faq.php
I heard that student in Pro-teach went out from the school without knowing by the 'teachers' in the student care centre. Any other feedback regarding Pro-teach from the mummies here? 🙂
