You can try to transfer her to the school in 2014 (P2), using her P1 results. Provided someone transfers out of the school. All the best! -

okay i will email and see how first
If I am in your position, I will call the principal to request for changing seat for her & getting her to ignore the boy at the same time. You can inform his parents about it but not making a big fuss at the gate. We have to keep cool in front of our kids & other parents. Maybe the boy's parents also having problem with the boy at home. All kids are different. Some are more mischievous than others, especially for boys. -

Actually i did want to email but i din in the end. I checked with my girl and she just tells me that now when that boy scolded, she also scolded him back the same thing . She is telling me that they will scold until the boy quits and now the boy dun really dare to scold much plus the boy has problem in pronoucing my girl's name so ended up when he scolds my girl you are crazy XX he pronounce another girl's name in class and ended up ganna scolded by teachers after the girl complains him. She tells me she has thought of ways to deal with him. Changing seats are impossible even if the boy is naughty and she will just have to wait for term 4 before they change seats again.larkspur:

I did told my girl i am going to email her teacher about this but she told me her form teacher did scold the boy and sometimes make him sit right in front of her. Her chinese teacher told the boy he wants to see his parents after school dismissal but the boy ran quickly after school dismissed without waiting for the teacher. She told me she also pitied him for failing his maths test and tries to teach him to do the correction as requested by teacher but he refused to let her teach him, so i told her then dun bother about him anymore -

No point to put under waiting list. Almost no chance for more than 2km. If you die die must send your child to Nan Chiau, then try to transfer your child to the school in 2014 (P2), using his/her P1 results. Provided someone transfers out of the school. Where are you staying? Do try a school within 1pm to increase your chance. Try Rivervale or Compassvale if you are staying in Sengkang. Punggol will be Meetoh. All the best!
I'm in Punggol, tryin Meetoh.bijin:
If you are within a km, you can still try phase 2c.
You can fill up the waiting list form from the general office.
Honestly long waiting list.
Thanks for the info.
I'm more than 2km away.
But thinking of trying the wait list route to get in to Nan Chiau. -
Hi bijin, Meetoh is a good & popular school in Punggol. You don’t have to put your child on the waiting list or transfer her over to Nan Chiau if she gets into Meetoh. Isn’t it good to have a school nearer to your home?

Great that ur dd tried to handle the bullying herself. Building up adversity quotient in kids is v critical.
Seems like teachers r monitoring e boy while trying not to give him too much negative attention which he craved.larkspur:
anyway i will need to continue to monitor too. It is actually good to get my daughter to tell me what happen in schools today so as to be able to help if there is a need. learn all this from newspapers reports about parents not knowing what happen to their children until too late.Great that ur dd tried to handle the bullying herself. Building up adversity quotient in kids is v critical.
