Agape only has childcare. They stopped student care 2 yers ago. The student card centre nearby is called Polaris. You can called them at 68810616. For afternoon session kids, the teachers there will walk them to the school after their lunch and shower.

For those of you with kids at Nan Chiau now, may I know for primary 1 kids, may I seek your advice on:

1) do they usually need to go back to school for enrichment class or any other matters on Saturday morning ?

2) Are there any swimming classes being introduced to the kids ? if so, from what level pls ?

This period is the PSLE period, so I don’t think the school will be sending out anything on the P1 Orientation, booklist or school uniforms. If I am not wrong, they would be sending out the communication to the parents between end Oct and mid Nov.

Saturday classes are mostly conducted by the Alumni, so it depends on whether you enrolled your child in any of the courses or not. Otherwise, there is no supplementary classes for the P1s to P3s.

As for the swimming classes, the P3s in 2008 did have swimming lessons, but they have none this year, presumably because of the H1N1. This year, there have not been any swimming lessons being conducted by the school. And even if the school did have the swimming lessons, it is only the basics, and does not entails the swimming survival tests.

I bought the NCPS school uniforms already. Plus a pair of shoes and a few socks. Name tag also done , mine girl is under green house tag. As for the letter , I'm not so sure what it would be stated, but I called and the staff told me that they will be sending the letter around end of oct to mid nov 09 before the orientation 30/11/09.

So meaning I can go to the school and get the school uniforms and shoes first?

There is no hurry. You can buy the uniforms/shoes on the same day when you buy the text books, unless you are kiasu and want to make additional trip.
