      hi p2 parents,

any idea what does "CS" and "FTGP" in their time table means? Still don’t understand why the school doesn’t have a legend to explain all these acronymns. last year was the same - threw in so many acronymns, leaving us to our own devices to figure it out.

My girl did copy down every word meaning yesterday.

If ds is correct, the PE on Wed is not a class PE… it’s like a mass PE.

Will see what happens next Wed.

I think FTGP is similar to what we had as \"PC\" (Pastoral Care)..last year.

Why the Timetable also not standardised! For 1H, the acronyms are given below the timetable with all the subjects teachers' names. But I understand quite a number of classes do not give so parents are clueless what they means.

                Hi!

My DD had received her Timetable yesterday. She has 3 PE lessons per week. Tues, Wed and Friday.

I preferred PE also, uniform too hot, skirt too long also.

For the first day, my DD complaint so boring becos the principal talked for two hours. But, 2nd day, she said was fun.

She liked to go to school. 😄
How I hope my son's one also 3 days....prefer PE over uniform. So troublesome with uniform for boys, pee also must teach him how to do it without unhook, so no need to tuck in again. And, it's hot for him. As for teachers, he said all ok lah.

Hi, there's a Discover Maths Topical Practice assessment book. Anyone knows if this book will be used by teacher in school? So far, never mention need to bring this book and my son has been working only on the Activity Book 1A. Is it meant as extra material for use at home? Thanks!

For my kid last year (p1), they used it as part of the school work...not sure if there is any change to this year.

Ok, then I dun touch it for now in case teacher uses it. I talked to some parents, they also say teacher will use but so far no news, also never ask to be kept by teacher. Most books taken away already...now bag quite empty, dunno if I have bought too big a bag (Firefly from Popular with quite a wide base).
