Hi, can I check if it is the case that the teachers at HCI aren’t allowed to explain doubts that students have from questions in assessment books?

      Hi,

I understand that we have to do travel declaration for the March holiday. Can we do it in the ISP for our child or they have to login themselves to do so?

I logged into ISP but can't seem to find any form. In fact, a lot of information in the ISP isn't updated.

If you have the password, you can access the ISP, go to 'Student Services' tab and click on 'Travel Declaration\".

What was the info that wasn't updated?

Thanks! I don't have my child's login details. I had logged in as parent so that is probably why I dont see it.

anyone able to advise on the sabbatical programmes? Read that if one chooses say the Euler Programme, some sabbatical points would be deducted. Does each boy start with a fixed set of ‘points’ to bid for these programmees at the start of each year?

      Figaro:
It cannot be counted as main CCA for this year's Sec 1 boys. You would need to have a main CCA before you can choose international chess as second CCA. For sec 2-4 boys in international chess, it would still be considered a main CCA for them.

So the change was only effected from this year or it has always been the case?

Notwithstanding that, the Sec 1 boys will need to have a main CCA for this year, so come Sec 2, how would they be able to choose international chess as main CCA unless they are allowed to 'drop' the CCA from this year? Just wondering :scratchhead:

      Hi,

In the CCA list, it is indicated against International Chess that it is second CCA.

Can I know what does this mean? Does it mean that it can be choosen as a main CCA and at the same time, there could be other students who already have a main CCA can also choose it as their 2nd CCA? Or does it mean that it can’t be counted as a main CCA?

      Appreciate any advice, please.
Just read about the CIP that the students are required to do .. however, the CIP site indicated is very far.. can I check if there are alternative sites that the students can go to for the CIP requirements? Appreciate advice. thanks.

The CIP applies for Year 1 too? Where did you read about it?

In EMB.. Every student need to clock at least 10 hrs of CIP
Ok sure. Thanks! Just went into EMB but can't seem to find it. Guess it's ok. Heard from DS that school will arrange and they will get more information in due course.

In the end, I emailed the IT helpdesk and they gave me the ID (different from the instruction that was given i.e y16tudentFullName). Password remains your child BC in uppercase.
So the iD has nothing to do with the kids, is it system generated one?
