Rosyth

hello everyone,
Just wonder if anyone don't mind to give my son a lift from Rosyth back to outram park after school next year. We intend to pay for the lift. He will be in P1 next year. Let me know if you keen to be schoolber!
:rahrah: Thanks! -
Hi! Would like to check if anyone is familiar with Rosyth’s student transfer policy - whether the school has to keep to a MOE student population quota (where transfers are only possible if an existing student gives up his/her place) or the school has autonomy to increase its cohort size within a certain margin? Or does anyone know of students who transferred to Rosyth in P1 or P2? I’m wondering if I should put in a waitlist application for p1 next year, and whether there were any past success cases.
Rosyth on its website says it has about 2030 students. Since 2011 (or thereabouts), each p1 registration cohort has 300 vacancies. Even if I add in 6 classes of GEP (p4 to p6, 30 per class), there’s still about 50 ‘extra’ students. So potentially there are 50 successful transfer students spread across the 6 levels? (And probably 10 times as many unsuccessful applicants). -

1. Is there a Parents Facebook Group around to add? Or groups for year 2018 parents?
2. Any review of the after-school care in Rosyth? -
How does Rosyth choose their prefects in P3?

Thank you! I did GRL for 2B :)
Hi embossing,
Congrats and best wishes to your kid... Did you do PV or GRL for 2B?senthil303:
Hihi..
May I know how many PV are there competing for the coming Monday registration?
25 slots for 2B now
Like to see my odds, as I'm under 2B but under 1-2km.
Thanks
I am interested in joining GRL instead of parents-volunteer. Do you mind sharing what did you do for GRL? Go for meetings? How frequent is the meeting & duration? Besides meetings, what else you need to contribute? If joining GRL, have to register by when & serve for a period of 1 or 2 years? Thank you for sharing. ^-^
