I heard a lots of students from Sengkang and punngol couldn't get a vacancy from Min Yang school bus . Wonder can approach school for trying to get another School bus for these 2 towns .

I called the school side too. Want to check whether they can help on transportation matter. But they respond that parents need to direct deal wth the school bus provider.

I am considering my boy for Rosyth next year for P1.

Anyone has any idea whether the school is stressful? Will they keep pushing you to go for enrichment classes or worse, ask you to withdraw from the school if they can’t perform academically?

I am actually considering Rosyth, Hougang Pri or Zhong Hua Pri.

I am not very well off, so I am worried, my boy will feel inferior in the school.

Personally think that stress will depend on individual. So far my children don't seems stressful.

Enrichment - no they don't push. However if the student is weak / didn't do well in the exam, teacher will have remedial classes but that is also once a week and few sessions only. Purpose is to help the students and not to punish them. Teachers are encouraging so far based on my children's feedback.

Don't worry too much, there's always mixture of students from different background. This is also a way for them to learn and grow
