Ya, see all of you tomrI managed to get thru the school bus. He said today he will call us and make the arrangement.
Let's see we will recieve any call today. See you all tomorrow @ PCS.
Tonight I will paste all the name labels, already sorted out his books needed for first day
I spent the last 2 days labelling the books! Luckily, my smart DH bought name stamps for my DSs but I still need to write class since the stamp is meant to be used for life  .
This afternoon, i put those books needed for tomr into the sch bags and prepared the pencil case. Glad to see that my DSs are excited, trying to run while carrying the bag. But they could not lift up their bags
I just ironed the uniform. Disappointed after the wash! I thot the material don't need ironing at all and worth the sacrifice for the comfort. The material seems to trap heat and one can get really hot isn't?
Btw, did anyone has experience with the Chinese teacher, Cao lao shi at Blk 730? Is she good? Last year, she distributed leaflet at my DSs' PCF and I enquired. No news from her (1 year!) until yesterday, she called me. I wonder whether worth to let her help my DSs on the Yun Yu thingy since my DSs has no Chinese enrichment class. -
Dear all,

Welcome Oranges, can you do a short intro of yourself and which class is your child in?
The exciting day is finally here today!
I sent DS to SC earlier, was glad they are ok with bringing the uniforms on hangars to hang in school. I had a hard time ironing the uniforms leh, do you all spray anything on it to make it crease free?
Am going to follow SC to bring DS to school later, then his daddy will fetch him from general office to school hall for assembly.
See you all in PCS! -
Hi All,
It was a tiring day for us … climbed up and down of the school hall.
Tried to peep @ DS. But good thing he enjoyed his class.
I have pre amped him before school., No Ben 10 action in school as he fond of acting like Ben 10 slamming on his watch to transform.
Good to see him so obedient …
By the way, my DS is in 1E… in case any parents’ kids are in the same class as him. -

Ya man, so tiring today!!!! Worst than I go to school myself. Get so xian during the teachers presentation on the so-call holistic education!! I rather my DSs have exam! For each subject, there are so many test, assessment, show-and-tell and each is only 2%. This means that every week, there is at least one of these activities. Esp xian when the slides on \"Role of parents\" appear. So xiong - so many things that I have to doHi All,
It was a tiring day for us .. climbed up and down of the school hall.
Tried to peep @ DS. But good thing he enjoyed his class.
I can't believe that my 3 DSs shoes are so dirty after just 1 day (or half day), and DS3 shirt even ganna milo stain from classmate who spill the drink, etc. There goes my hope that their shirt can be clean for 2 days and spare me the ironing nightmare.
Ya, anyone has any trick on this ironing?
But one glad thing after dinner is to see that my DS1 is self-motivated to do his 'homework' (writing and decorating his A4 size name label) and wanted to complete it b4 he sleeps.
May I know any parents from 1H? -
Yes, indeed tiring. I even fell asleep during the talk on transition to P1! I think after Term 1, its really gonna be stressful for our kids and us!
nonkiasu - You intended to let DS wear the uniform for 2 consecutive days before washing? My DS' uniform was wet with sweat by the time he reached school hall.
And this week, everyday wear uniform right since timetable not ready yet so no PE? Gonna wash yesterday's uniform and iron again for wearing on Fri!
Got A4 size name label? DS didn't have leh, only got the name tag clipped on the pocket. -
Our first day is kind of a \"disaster\" for us too. We were late by 5 min. sending DD down to the school bus as last min DD wanted to poo and were \"softly\" scolded by the driver. School shoes I bought just two months' ago was found too tight already! School bag (a gift from friend) too small and too heavy, needs to change to a bigger and expensive one that support backbone better (thought I could have saved $ on this one...)... and here is the best part, hubbie tucked the water bottle WITHOUT WATER into DD's bag (blame me though, coz I just last min. instructed him to put water bottle into my daughter's bag and he did exactly that and no more.... :stupid: ).... oh yah, skirt too loose after running, which I just had it fixed last night; and DD's hair too long.... wondering how come I didn't spot all these in the past few days...
I couldn't find the creative writing book in the pack bought in November.... no idea I lost it or need to buy after school opens? anyone any idea?
But despite all these, it was still a good day for us. We were all very excited, yes, every one of us. Lots of walking around and photo-taking. All went to bed by 9:30pm last night, including my hubbie, which is very rare for him. -
Hi ululu, the creative writing book was no stock last time, if you hv ordered previously from Pacific bookstore, they should give you a pink color Credit Note to ask you collect it when school re-opens. I hv collected it yesterday.
For school uniform this week, the principle said it doesn't matter to ware either one since the class timetable not out yet.
Hope this helps.

ululu
haha … your post sounds so dramatic!
Anyway, good that it was a great day!
DS’ shirt kept coming out of the shorts too (not exactly loose), i gave up helping to tuck it in properly.
I didnt get a pink slip previously from the bookshop but you can just go there to buy the CW book.
