        no lah..

use 2 years time (p1-p2) to learn 2000 words that normally done in 6 years. That only apply to words recognition only. doesn't really mean that p2 kids will have chinese language ability of p6 kids (e.g. comprehension, compo, etc...)
Hi, amylqf. I just heard that those words that the P2 are learning now (the trial/china' syallbus) are so difficult that not even the usual P6 students know those words. That is, the standard is very much higher than MOE's advance chinese. Is it true?

Also, can I confirm that HYPY is not shown in the P1/P2 text?

My girl is going to P1 next year, actually already enroll her into Tampines Pri Sch, but I got a call from Poi Ching this morning saying that they got a place for my girl. Now I am still wondering whether to tranfer her to Poi Ching or just stick to Tampines Pri Sch?

i thought tampines is under renovation. the classroom is moving to bedok side. not sure if they have move back or not.

if they haven’t move back, the inconvenience might be the cause.

if they move back, it is actually better location than poi ching.

Are u staying nearer to Poi Ching? Many parents wish to have their child enrole in Poi Ching since it is a SAP school. U are strongly encouraged to transfer now that you are given the chance to. Just my two cents worth...

Poi Ching is not easy for just anyone to get in and i think you are fortunate to get a place for your child. I say go for it. 😉

                      Hi mummies

I found this update on MOE site: http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/single-session/

Wondering when Poi Ching will go fully for single session? any update?

plus any good after school care near the school to recommend?

                      Thanks
