      cpdalin:

lets continue to encourage our kids... and ourselves..... we can do it... yesterday my gal fell during recess time... bleed on her hand n bruise on her knee.... dunno hw she fell but she said she tripped over a stick:S
luckily her friends accompanied her to the general office for medication.
so i told her... great to have friends around to look after each other:))
Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully we all will see the reward of the hard work soon. I remembered the principal mentioned during the orientation day that by hanging in there for 2 years, most kids will benefit from the programmes they put up. 🙏

I am not against hard working.. Actually I believe in consistency and hardworking. It is just that when the school work takes up so much time, kids won't have time exploring or developing some areas of his/her own interest...

for example, for arts and craft, better ask them to finish in school.... otherwise, it may end it up being us parents' homework, defeating its purpose.

        hi ululu

DS also signed up for PCS swimming program but that is only for one term and not those kind that can get bronze/silver/gold certificate eventually right?

He has his own regular swimming class since last year but now need to reschedule because we have something on in the morning. Current instructor got no afternoon or evening class on Sun so need to source elsewhere.

I c I c. DD learning swimming from hubbie and not going for Cert. She is not sporty type afterall. So in our case, school programme shall suffice. I am not going for enrichment roadshow this Sat. Too many on DD’s plate Liao, can’t take any more. Maybe after some time, then reconsider.

Parents who are intending to attend the enrichment classes roadshow today or tomorrow, please note the roadshow is postponed till further notice.

I went down to PCS earlier and was informed by General Office staff, they said too late to notify us. Do take note!

Any found items are sent to the General office.

Maybe you can ask your DS to check with the admin staff there.

does the pencil box has his name and class? where did he lose it? in class or around the school compound? maybe you can also call the general office to check.

Don't 😢 . Mine are not better. After sch open till now...My DS1 already lost 1 pencil, DS2 broke the zip of his pencil case and lost sharpener, DS3 lost ... hmm I forgot liao. My ex-colleague has only a girl and she used to go bookshop very frequent during lunch hour to replenish lost stationary. She advised me to buy in dozens! 😢

The worst thing is that my DSs lost their vitagen or yogurt drink. They have a snack box and left it on the canteen table to go toilet. When return, the drink in the box is gone but biscuits still in the box. If it's the less ex packet milk, its intact. Hmm, what can we say abt the teaching of the sch core value! Now, I ask them to get their classmates to look after their snack box.

I am so busy nowadays that hardly able to come to this forum as my DS2 and DS3 form teacher is back last monday and homework starts. They had their 1st spelling last Friday but I still dunno how they fare. I dont' expect them to get full marks anyway. Last friday, when I ask my DS3, he was very cheeky saying that his friend dunno certain word and he secretly show to him without the teacher knowing and VICE VERSA! Oh mine, I dunno what to say bec it's my DSs 1st spelling in their life (they didn't have it in K2) and i would not like to be too harsh and stress them. But yet, they shouldn't copy in spelling. Any advise?

Good thing that my DS got back his pencil box with all his stationeries intact yesterday. I wrote a note to his teacher and his teacher brought him to the lost and found counter in the canteen. He was told that if he lost anything the next time look for it himself at the counter.
