      Gumbokins:
Received mail from the school yest about their SNAC app...there's a medical survey that we are supposed to do by 6 sept. looks like a user friendly app.

I received the letter as well and went on to download the app.

The survey was completed in less than 5 minutes since I don't have much to explain. 😉

Many people like St Hilda’s cos of its excellent academic record, but I personally like the school because of the character education. I feel that the way the students behave and the values they seem to have are strong testimonies of the good work done by the teachers.

Passed by their Tampines site recently, and I think it’s really huge (as compared to other schools in the neighbourhood) and nice. Anyone knows when the school will be back in Tampines? Anyone else have comments on their students? Please share as I’ll be registering my child in two years’ time.

They will be back at the Tampines campus in AY2015 and single session 🙂

My dd is in the 2014 batch...we picked SH mainly for the location...easily accessible from both my and my parents' hse and lucked out with the balloting.

On side note, does anyone know the session on the 8th (is it orientation?), what time will it end?

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if you're still thinking of transferring your son to the school now, it probably means that you're not already on the waiting list to come into SHPS.

The school has a long waiting list of pupils wanting to transfer over. Simple logic would tell you that if the current pupils have no reason to leave, then probably the P4s of 2014 will only have less than 10 vacancies. So, if they go down the waiting list and offer admission to these people on a first-come-first-served basis, I think your son would not be able to come in. Wait list norms for schools like SHPS can easily fill up a class of 40.

If you truly believe that the current school is a mistake, then, I suggest you start considering other options.

How come you just registered now for next year P1? Thought registration closed long time ago and it's full house now?

                        Hi all Mummies,

I just want to know, if there is any separated parents like me who child is in St Hildas? Hope is not :offtopic:

I feel so out the day when I went to the Orientation and Principle wants Daddy to join them for the camp and when school starts...I really feel so sad for my kid there....

Hope I could find parents here to share their thought of being a single parent here if any....
