I'm more than 2km to Cedar. Any advice what chances if I go for Phase2CS? My boy is enrolling for 2020 intake. Not sure about the balloting history... Cedar seems to be good. Any parents can share about the student care facilities and the school environment? If it is easily accessible?Thanks.

The school is very deep inside a landed estate. Not accessible at all because no MRT or bus stop nearby. Do u have any other 2CS schools nearer your house?

Is this why it is very low in registration? As in not accessible? Rosyth didnt get in. St gabriel more than 2km. The rest fewer vacancies. Zhonghua is also not very accessible

It's not that bad lah
The bus stop isn't far away but problem is limited bus services (100, 135, 155) that served the area. It may not be that convenient for someone staying within 1km of Rosyth. I would rather look at schools in Hougang (Yio Chu Kang, Montfort) before I consider Cedar.

Look at your public bus routes from Rosyth area. I’m sure u can find a direct bus from your place to one or more of those schools that Floppy suggested.


If u were thinking of driving to Cedar, think again. That area is crazily jammed up especially due to the Bidadari works and will get worse over the years.

It is similar but maybe slightly more heartland, it’s inside a landed estate but not as deep in as Cedar. Walkable to bus stop that has several buses. There’s an adequate student care if that’s what you need. I don’t really know the quality of the teaching at the school or student care but it is perfectly adequate. I know a friend’s child studying there and coping fine (not failing lah).

Thank u! I was looking at the cca as well. Seems not alot. Should have just registered st gabriel haha sure in at that time. Didnt expect the sudden surge from Day 2 to Day3!
