Hi African Violet, I’m not sure if it’s compulsory to get the chinese magazine but i decided to get it for DS in case the school does use it. After all, the school shared that their pass rate for Chinese is 100% as compared to national average, hence, maybe that’s one of the resources that they used? hehehe… decided to be kiasu and get it for my son.


Lim_carmel, which after schl care is your child gg to? thinking of sending DS to one instead… he just waits for me to come home from work to ask him if he has HW. Cant afford to let this happen esp from Term 2 onwards when they start to have assessments.

it is compulsory from what I understand from my gal's chinese teacher. Coz i told my gal dun need to subscribe and the teacher actually called and explain that all students need to.

my gal is attending proteach in serangoon north. near my plc.

ya BASC will help in supervising the kid's hw. they also provide basic tuition.

u can pack the packet milo for your boy. i do this for my gal.

yes. those pre-packed from supermarket. and i think it is smaller than those from the vending machine.

if u let ur boy drink vitasoy, those small pack ones, u can alternate between the 2. that is what we did. so she dun drink milo everyday. milo can be quite heaty
