I recall that most boys in my son's class gave useful stationery. Nothing too fancy. Think they're not supposed to get pricey stuff. Last year he got a pen for each teacher. This year i suggested notepads.

Yes, the boys have computer lessons. The school uses Apple iMac and the boys are not require to buy any Mac book.

I believe it is only the MS secondary school boys who must buy a Mac book.

My kid's bag is quite heavy despite the locker and all. Besides the Math and Chinese textbooks and some exercise books, they still need to bring the Marist Buddy (notebook), a hard A4 file, and sometimes a few other folders. If your kid needs to go to student care, then you need to think of the extra clothes he must bring. The Popular Bookshop ergo bag is big enough.
