They are of different compound. Basically the Secondary school boys are quite well behaved. Many of the Secondary school boys were ex-boys and I don't thinks there's so called \"gangs\" in the secondary school. Although the Secondary school boys do come over to the canteen to eat at times, they don't disturb the Primary school boys and there will always be teachers or PVs around in the canteen to look after the little boys.Hi mummies,
I am thinking of enrolling my son for the 2015 intake. Can I ask if the pri and secondary school share the same compound? My husband is worried that the \"gangs\" in the secondary school will come and \"solicit/ recruit\" the primary school boys, esp when they are in pri 5/ 6. -

RE: O-Level Additional Math
Please help with these :
1) Look at the ( ) digit. If it is a ( ) or a ( ) , then original number is divisible by 5.
2)Look at the number formed by the ( ) digits only. If this number is divisible by 8, then the original number is divisible by 8.
3) ( ) up the digits in the ( ) positions. Then ( ) up the digits in the ( ) positions. If the difference between the two is ( ) or ( ), then the original number is divisible by 11. -
RE: PSLE 2012 - Results Discussion
Only272:
Guys, I am extremely disappointed with my daughter's results. She only got 272 marks this year! I heard that a large number of people got 280 and above. I am so sad right now. What can you do with 272? Sigh. I'm not trying to make other people with terrible scores like say, 260 feel sad, but this is really annoying. Especially since the average score in singapore is like what, 275? Sigh.
260s are not terrible scores and are not SAD at all ! 272 is a good score and you should be glad and humble about it. -

Yup!
My DS asked me this question once he stepped out of the school gate. He chose \"目的\". I would think \"作用\" is more appropriate but later i realise it was a cloze passge so \"愿望\" could be also right. It depends very much on the entire passage. Anyway, I asked him to move on, no point guessing what's the right answer. He find the MCQ tricky and comprehension OE easier than his SA and Prelim.
Later on in the passage, it said something like 当一个孩子从书包里把我拿出来时,我感到非常___。thesjarox:
Asked DS. He said question something like this.
我是一张白纸。我的__是让小孩涂鸦。
Choose : 作用 / 愿望
Think should be 作用
The answer for this was most probably 兴奋, as all of my DD's friends selected that. Hence, 愿望 should be correct. It was also later mentioned in the passage that the child threw the paper away and it was stepped on by many ppl, and later picked up and folded into a paper airplane and thrown to a empty corner.
and it was 写字,让老师改 or something like that, not 涂鸦. -
RE: Q&A - PSLE Math
Please help me with these two questions :
1) Jay bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Kay. Kay bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jay. Jay ate 12 sweets and Kay ate 18 chocolates and then the ratio of Jay’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Kay’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Jay have at first ?
2)There are more pupils in School A then School B. 30% of the pupils in School A is 45 more than 40% of the pupils in School B. If 10% of the pupils in School A leaves to join School B, there will be 200 more pupils in School A than School B. How many pupils are there in School B?
Thank you ! -

Please help me with this question :
There was a total of 200 blue, red and green balls. There were twice as many red balls as blue balls. There were fewer green balls than red balls. The number of blue balls and red balls in each group was less than 100 and divisible by 3 and 4. How many green balls were there ?
