      bigfoot:
      nms1:

My sons won't be enrolling until 2014 & 2015 but I pop in here occasionally when looking at things for my daughter. Has there been any talk of moving the school day to start later now that they are single session? I know that the Maris Stella bus leaves our place at 6:25 because I hear it every morning but I live in hope that things may change before it's their turn!

My daughter is lucky as she has a 7:25 start and is only 5 mins drive away.

I don't think the time will change. 6.25am is not bad considering that it is 6.10am in Bishan. I prefer to send DS to school in the morining as it is only about 10 min drive away. Traffic is smooth if you can reach the school by 6.50am.

MSHS has always been single session, at least for the past 6 years, and the start time has always been this early. Baffling, but this is the case.

              usaik:

All these years, the school bus operator does have school buses which leave the school at 4pm to send the boys home. As most CCAs will start around 1.45pm and end between 3.15 to 3.45pm, most of the boys who take school buses can catch the 4pm bus home after CCAs. However, additional fee apply and is charged on a per trip basis.

Next year, however, as there is some adjustment to the school hours, I believe the buses will have to leave later due to the later dismissal time.

Oh, thank you for the information! The teacher i/c told me there isn't any bus service available so that's why I got worried. πŸ™‚

Hi, not all areas hav this svc. This year, my dad has to go pickup my boy after CCA cos the bus IC says that the 'extra svc' don't cover my house area.

Hence, pls chk with the bus aunty. πŸ˜‰
