Finally rec'ed the confirmation letter fr CPS. DS going P1.next yr..really excited. I realised this PNG is rather quiet (last post in May!) Hope to see more exchanges to startthe ball rolling, i would like to seek some advice on orientation day which is on 17 nov.

Do parents usually buy books n uniform on that day? There will be huge crowd right? If not can we get all the books fr popular? Any cheaper alternatives? where else to get the uniform?

Just got my DS into clementi pri…finally…no balloting at all for clementi this year cos all went to qifa

Just called clementi pri. 131 vacancies (got some withdrawals). 91 SC 22 PR applied. the admin mgr told me SC chances are no need to ballot regardless of distance

NHPS left 20 seats each for 2b &2c liao…worse than last year : ((

I am hoping that some parents can comment or have any comments about Pei Tong Primary? This PTPS has consistently been the 4th and least preferred of the 4 clementi schools. Why?v is it the teachers? teaching? school system? or the principal?

I went to the MOE talk held at PTPS 2 days ago, and the PT Principal pales in comparison to the rest of the Principals from other participating primary schools (Qifa, Clementi, yuhua, New town etc)

Agree that the P isn't very impressive when he delivered his talk. not sure abt his ability in comparison to other Ps.
When i spoke to the 4students reps at the booth,they were good and can sense that they are happy students:) but need to highlight that out of the 4, 3 are foreign students...

i am quite impressed by their future classrooms though. Any feedback will be good: )

After phase 1 NHPS is abt last year, 108 taken. Now have to see phase 2A. if there is not much changes compared to last year. phase 2C will be left with abt 29 places. right?

What abt phase 2C for NHPS ? Anyone done any analysis? Last year was terribly competitive …not sure what will be the situation like this year
