As each phase passes, the risk of balloting for NHPS @ P2B within 1km seem to be likely. I have evaluated other schools for P2B but it seem all popular school take u rate is equally high. Now can only wait till next Friday for P2A2 outcome.

          Hi,

I am hoping that some parents can comment or have any comments about Pei Tong Primary? This PTPS has consistently been the 4th and least preferred of the 4 clementi schools. Why? is it the teachers? teaching? school system? or the principal?

I went to the MOE talk held at PTPS 2 days ago, and the PT Principal pales in comparison to the rest of the Principals from other participating primary schools (Qifa, Clementi, yuhua, New town etc)

              I was there too!
Agree that the P isn't very impressive when he delivered his talk. not sure abt his ability in comparison to other Ps.
When i spoke to the 4students reps at the booth, they were good and can sense that they are happy students:) but need to highlight that out of the 4, 3 are foreign students...

i am quite impressed by their future classrooms though. Any feedback will be good: )

                Hi ,

My son DS1 is in PTPS Pri 1 this year. I had balloted unsuccessfully for Nan Hua last year and was also unfortunately balloted out of Qifa during phase 2C and hence i put my son in PTPS.
To be honest, the school is really quite good. Till date i have no complaints about the school . My DS1 is also very happy in school and the teachers are caring and attentive. The workload is not a lot and quite manageable at P1 level. They also uses computer a fair bit for lessons and home work and the school is using teh asknlearm portal and problemsum.com portal on a weekly basis now.
I initially had my reservations too but now i am quite rest assured that he is in good hands.

Actually my curiosity is why Clementi Pri is the 2nd choice after Nanhua. My own assumption is that those living near the central will go for the school while those in west coast will go for Qifa.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I am not sure about why so much computer is being used for primary school children, it is really not good for their eyes and hands even ignoring the radiation from screens.
