      Intricater:
Dear Parents of 1E, are you aware that the boys' timetable has changed for this semester? My DS told me so earlier this week, but I didn't take much notice of it, as I didn't see any circulars or anything written on the Marist Buddy regarding it. However, I 'finally' discovered the new timetable in his personal folder earlier today. Hence, thought to share with you, so that you can be aware too in case you ain't.

yes, saw the new timetable too. no more tie on monday!
there is also a test schedule for Term 3 and 4.
also, a reminder that coming monday is a school holiday.
does anyone know when the english show-and-tell is? one of the exercises for the reading folio was to write about an adventure book. the child is expected to bring the book to school and do a show-and-tell. my DS has been carrying it back and forth for a week. wondering when he really needs it.

Hello P3 moms with kids in badminton CCA… can I confirm if the badminton CCA is 3x per week for P3s (not school team)?

I want my boy to take up swimming next year but if badminton is 3x per week, he’ll end up having CCA 4x a week and I’m not prepared to fetch him from school so many times a week, which also means I’ll be paying for his school bus and student care for nothing…

          Bigfoot,

If you are reading this, can you let me know if you sent your DS to private badminton classes since you pulled him out of the CCA? If so, where did you send him?

          TIA

Cherrygal - im wondering - is ur boy tired from hvg CCA in the aft? Cos I realized my boy must nap on weekday aft - otherwise he can’t absorb anythg that we teach at nite…

Hence decided to take ‘out of school CCAs’ - on weekends instd.

The swimming is a school cca so it has to be after school. I was toying with the idea of doing private badminton lessons instead on a sunday.

My boy doesn't take naps in the afternoons, even on weekends. He sleeps early at around 8.30pm instead. His student care also does not allow them to nap in the afternoons.

I leave his homework & tuition to the student care. I dun teach any more when he returns home (also dun want to teach coz vomit blood  ). It's just dinner, TV and some play time before he sleeps. I only coach extra when it's preparation for the show n tell or for exams.

Wat time does your boy sleep?

My son naps in the afternoon from 3pm to 7pm. He takes a long dinner, always ending around 9pm. We didn’t teach anything cos we usually reach home at 9.30. He sleeps at 11.30 to midnight.

Anyone’s kid has visited the school dentist? Ds has been trying to go, but it seems to be opened for limited days/ times? So far, all his visits has been in vain. Is there a in-house dentist there at all?

My son is only allowed to visit the dentist during recess time but because he's from P3, he's not allow to cross over to the lower primary during recess time. Ended up bringing him to the private dentist to get his tooth extract. The dentist seems \"so near yet so far...\"

There’s a dentist but think he gotta give them his name then wait for the dentist to call him when it’s his turn (and by then, his tooth may have already dropped)… I was surprised when I heard this ruling too…

Yes. Just give the dental clinic a ring to arrange for appointment.

                        My son Pri1.
