Your child is there? What's your review on the after school care? How much is the fees?[/quote]PapayaDad:

Hi! Can anyone here share about the wushu school team? How many times do they practice a week, the demands, etc? My son told me he has been asked to join the school team (frankly I am not sure if he heard correctly) but I like to be prepared and make an informed decision. He has his tuition classes and his soon-to-have duty as altar boy. So I don’t want him to over commit.

It is always good to let your child be in a CCA that he is interested and can excel in. CCA is important up to Secondary 4. I personally believe CCA wil give your child an all round education. So, if I am in your situation, I will rearrange the other activities around the Wushu. You can look at it from another point of view. It trains your child to be disciplined as well as learn to balance between CCA and studies. If anything, it builds character and he may end up more resilient. Just my 2 cents worth. -
Hi Namie,
Can I chk to what level they hve taught the P2s to liao at the moment? Are they at the 剑 or 刀 movements already? -
I don’t know where they have learnt. I don’t attend wushu with him because I am usually working during that period of time.
As Altar Boy, he has weekday and weekend obligations, excluding his obligations for other days such as Easter, Christmas, Holy Week, weddings and funerals.
I want to build his confidence as he has been feeling very small every since he went into primary school but I don’t want him to be so tired out that he can’t revise his work. Will see how. -
is it p2 results r used to stream the boys in p3? so p1 p2 same class right?
-
P1P2 same class. I heard P3 change class but not due to ‘streaming’ - rather just to mix the boys ard to make new frens - dunno true or not though.
-
so the boys will be streamed at which year?
-
Streamed at P4 for P5/6.
