Does anybody have any feedback/advice about the iflashbook which we are supposed to register?

      Is it just a reference/practice?
I'm having a bit of problem using it. Seems to find the B books only...

FYI, iflashbook is not Mac friendly

After running in Windows, can only find B books…

          Cheers!

It needs flash to run. I bought 1 two years ago and only login recently. Managed to find both 3A and 3B for my DS. But honestly I don't find it useful because I restrict DS PC time.

              Hi all

              Thanks for the replies.

Is it a useful tool? Especially for P1?

Is all P1 classes having the MTP this Friday evening @ 5.30-7pm?

Can anyone share what is the school bus arrangement for kids after their weekday CCA? Does the bus still ferry them home, any extra charges?

                Thank you!

It should be for all P1 parents.
We found it a very useful session. We had a better understanding of the teachers who will be handling our DS for 2 yrs. their emphasis & their peeves.
At the same time, meeting with the others parents from the same class, exchange contact numbers & email add. Trust me, come in very very handy and the parents are thus informed & united.

I’m new here. My boy in P1 too.

Missing boy from schoolbus case - interesting. Not sure if he had intended to be out for an adventure. Else, he really could have sought help from school even if the bus went without him. shrug

Anyway, shit happens, no matter where you are. You just need to equip your kid to know what to do when they get lost:

                    1. Make sure your kid memorize you and your HB’s contact no.
                    2. Make sure his wallet/bag has your contact no.
                    3. Help him identify people whom he can seek help from. I always told him if he gets lost in a mall, the best people to seek help from are the people working in the shops, and not the strangers walking around. Just walk into any shop and get help. Give them my HP no and get them to call me.

When we go on an overseas trip, I get him to remember the hotel name and room no. for good reasons.

You must tell Renhurn boss. They charge a flat fee of $5 per trip for CCA days.

I found out that there is this stall in canteen , a la carte, that charged $2 for everything . It seems that this takes place wef fr today. I called school to clarify, spoke to canteen in charge a Ms Ng. She was rather high handed and defensive. Claimed that the p1s were briefed by buddy and that there were parents volunteer there too. She started by blaming my boy for not collecting the change back.

Excuse me. I know what I gave my boy. No notes were given.

So as p1, you take the blame. Together with the buddy. Canteen operator can charge as much as they like because the little kid queued there.

Btw, my boy bought a plate of wanton noodle and was given a single wanton, some char siew and a little bit more noodle, which he cant finish. According to Ms Ng, that stall served a bigger portion. If the boys wanted smaller portion, should go to noodle hut. Ie longer queue, no wanton, just char siew and some noodle. But longer queue, meaning it could be your turn only when the bell rings.

I feedback to svhool personnel that this should not be the case and that the caterer has been with the school long enough to understand. Previously hmy boy bought hokkien noodle at $1 per plate from that stall. No problem. What reply I got fr ms Ng was that, uncle pity him so gave him less and charge less.

We parents are not allowed in since day 1 to accompany, you expect the p1 to remember so much. Such tactics are unreasonable.

I hope the school will do something about it, since admin manager is not around today. Will call again tomorrow speak personally.
