My son on MC today. Vomited all over and school called us to take him back. Didn’t notice he is sick cos he was very active last night. Wonder if his vomiting has to do with the classmate punching his stomach yesterday. He told me the classmate punched him and when he was trying to run away, my son pulled his collar and yanked him off. That got him another punch but my son punched him back too. We told him good. He did tell his teacher.

wah!!! so violent!
my son came back early too.... stomachache! -
My son also complained of stomache. We suspected the food. Hence, we decided to cancel our order. Anyway, my DS doesn’t like the food either. He can be a fussy eater. So we decided to pack simple food (like bun) for him. It is better than him not eating anything at all. So, YES, we don’t have to bother with what kind of sub-standard food they are going to provide anymore. Seriously, I think food catering is a serious business and the school should have exercised more dilligence in selecting the caterer.

Hi Namie, your DS classmate seem violent at this age. I think you need to talk to the teacher and if possible the VP at least. You don't have to sound aggressive but just raise your concern. If it persists, you can ask the FT to arrange to talk to the parents of the boy concern. With parents involvement, it is easier. Of course every parents will feel their DS is right. But if we can resolve the issue in a civic manner, hopefully the boys can learn a thing or two from it.
My son was blocked from getting down from the school bus on his second day. Luckily my MIL was there and told off that boy. Subsequently, my DS has no problem with him in the bus.
DS also mentioned about seeing other naughty boys playing pranks on other classmates. But we decided to let him deal with the issue by not interfering. But we will draw a line between playing pranks and fighting and punching.
We encouraged him to make more friends. If he can have more friends, it will make school more enjoyable. Lucky for us, he has a classmate who is staying around the same area as us and they seem to get along just fine.

Can we cancel our order at this stage? If so I would like to cos the food is so sad! My son has been bringing home the jelly/solitary biscuit/cream puff. By the time he arrives home it's all squashed by his books.
I was thinking of giving him money to get fruits from the canteen then realised he's not even allowed there. !!
