Are you an old girl? I wasn't from MCS, but from what I recall, this school has already been seen as pretty good.

Why is the take up rate so low for MCS compared to other schools in same area ?

I registered my gal yesterday and it is so quiet there.

May be because it’s not in the middle of a residential area… the flats nearby (braddell heights) are pretty old unlike CHIJ Toa Payoh, surrounded by flats.

                Gorilla is right.
I used to stay just across the road from Marymount Convent, lots of MC gals living in my area :). This part of Thomson is a mature estate, not a lot of high rise residential buildings nearby, and it is very near to MacRitchie Reservoir as well.

TOTALLY agreed!!! My wild guess is that those who will got ballot out will then join MCS under 2C(supp)...which may eventually lead to balloting for MCS under 2C(S). MCS is actually a very good convent school and i dare say their quality of teaching and the work they are covering don't loss to other all girls' school! (Not doubt other school may offer higher chinese).

The only losing factor MCS is it's location.
